Zolton, No news on Olsson signing a contract. And by no means guaranteed he will. Club trying to come to an arrangement which will suit his domestic situation (a want to be nearer to the south) but keep him happy. Whether they can resolve that...we'll see

www.footballfortheday.com - Fair comment but as Chris himself mentioned on Baggies View, Yacob's range of passing has been impressive not just the lay-offs

Hi Chris, great news about the book! Who was the best player to work with? And does it have pictures in it? I am going to buy some copies for my Wolves friends but they will be a bit redundant without plenty of pictures :-)

Great atmosphere at the Hawthorns on Saturday, Chris. I hope you noticed! Particularly buzzing at the back of the BRE. I believe a Bomber Squad comeback is on the cards?

Zolton. No new on pub. It's primed for demolition. Needs go ahead from English Heritage. If, when, that happens it will be pulled down for the stand redeveopment. If that goes ahead (no further planning issues envisaged) then new capacity wpould be about 32000...

footballfortheday. Fair comment. Though ball retention is critical in PL football. Certainly, from chatting to coaches over the years, one of the key attributes they look for in a player

WisherPonnerstarr Thank you. All of the players were brilliant. Only one player refused to be involved (which wasn't a major surprise...) but the rest were beyond fantastic. Couldn't have asked for more. Enjoyed working with all - perhaps the most enjoyable chapters to write were Andy Johnson and John Hartson. But all shed fresh insight on the club....

Is Steve Clarke better than Paul Lambert?
by Randy9/5/2012 11:21:39 AM
What are the signs for Popov? It must be unlikely a player leaves behind European football to sit on the bench. Ridgewell to make way despite his solid start?
by Penge9/5/2012 11:21:41 AM
PK. I thought the atmosphere was excellent throughout, agreed
by Chris Lepkowski9/5/2012 11:21:57 AM
Penge. He's only on loan. Doubt he'll be fast-tracked into the side - Ridgewell has done little wrong. He's there to challenge. All good sides need 2/3 challengers for each role. Left-back was the one remaining problem area

Dear Chris, what is the latest regarding the club's plans to honour Tony Brown?

ROLL ON JAN THOU COULD DO WITH NEW CENTRE BACK AN STRIKER YA FORTS CHRIS

Is this the best Baggies team ever Chris? I think we are nailed on for Champions League
by Meggo9/5/2012 11:23:07 AM
Randy...Not sure who is better but, by eck, you best learner from your mistakes.
by Chris Lepkowski9/5/2012 11:23:12 AM
Hi Chris, it seems our tactics have been to use Long to tire out defences and then bring on Lukaku to play hell with them, do we have a plan B? Unlike RDM...
by Midge9/5/2012 11:23:32 AM
Chris will be online until 12.30pm on the dot
by Birmingham Mail9/5/2012 11:24:04 AM
Wilson, that'sgoing to be part of the new stand work. But in essence will involve a statue (that's the current plan). Incidentally, a scaled down version of the Batson-Cunningham-Regis statue being unveiled today. Check out tomorrow's Bham Mail for more details
by Chris Lepkowski9/5/2012 11:24:17 AM
Mark Beckett. Think they're ok up front. Centre-half, yes, I take your point. Not sure Tamas is in any rush to leave as yet
by Chris Lepkowski9/5/2012 11:24:44 AM
Midge. Don't think that's the 'only' tactic. It's simply being used so far. FOr what it's worth I'm informed there was a strong chance Lukaku was primed to play last Sat (had he recovered in time). So don't think it's nailed on that he will assume a 'super sub' role exclusively
by Chris Lepkowski9/5/2012 11:25:50 AM
Will you be doing any book signings Chris? It would be a great idea to do something pre-game at the Sportsman or the Vine! Tot, Tikka and a Tome, you might call it.
by Wisher Ponner Star9/5/2012 11:26:43 AM
Scott Allan looked a good prospect and not has been seen of him. When we will see some of the youngsters in action in the PL or Cups?
by Shieldssdoesthedeals9/5/2012 11:26:45 AM
What has happened to Luke Moore, is he going to get a look in this season?
by Dilly9/5/2012 11:26:46 AM
chris, will long be dropped for lukaku against fulham
by MiLLzY WBA9/5/2012 11:26:47 AM
Fair enough, do you think we expect to see Rosenburg featuring soon? Having so many strikers all playing well is a good headache for the manager IMO.
Rail operator Virgin Trains has been asked to continue running the troubled West Coast Main Line for another few months, the Government said today.
