If you have any questions ahead of Colin arriving please feel free to get them in nice and early...
by Birmingham Mail11/6/2012 11:55:13 AM
Do you still think Blues fans should be patient? Surely We are at risk of the season going down the pan already?
by Dave11/6/2012 11:59:49 AM
When will Paladini know if he's had his bid accepted or not?
by Jacob11/6/2012 11:59:51 AM
Takeover latest Tatts?
by Pauly T11/6/2012 11:59:53 AM
Hi Tatts - considering there's still no announcement regarding Paladini's bid. Does that suggest, "No news is good news". They've not thrown the bid out quickly as they did back in September. What's your understanding of where things stand as we speak?

do you feel the play offs are still within reach or a mid to low table finish?
by guinansg11/6/2012 12:01:38 PM
Colin. What went wrong against Ipswich?
by Bluenose Bob11/6/2012 12:01:39 PM
In regard the takeover, Gianni Paladini and the Italian backers are still waiting to hear for definite. I suspected it might take a while for Peter Pannu to get back to them as he will have to consult with Carson Yeung and BIHL board. At the time of writing, it is still the only formal bid there on the table.
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:02:16 PM
Done the Ipswich performance in the match report and so on. Bad start, too safe, not enough urgency until the second-half etc
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:03:18 PM
Of course the play-offs are still within reach. The League is tighter than it ever has been. Blues have to find that consistency they have not had and be more aggressive and proactive at home.
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:04:27 PM
Are we unlikely to hear anything this week, Tatts, i.e takeover?
by Gary J. Richards11/6/2012 12:04:44 PM
Tatts if you were in charge tonight what would your tactics and approach be?
by Cleva Treva11/6/2012 12:04:47 PM
Hi Colin Even you can't defend Clark now, the guy is useless not even good enough for a non league club
by Jon11/6/2012 12:05:18 PM
Back to the takeover again: at some stage Peter Pannu and BIHL are going to have to announce what is going on to the HKSE as Gianni Paladini's group have submitted, in writing, a formal offer, as was requested of them.
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:05:36 PM
Cleva Treva, tonight I would start Zigic, Burke, possibly Spector in the middle and be more direct, aggressive. Get the ball forward into the last third quicker and play off Zigic.
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:06:20 PM
Hi tatts where are them band of brothers you so often wrote about last season,so much wrong on the playing side of things and who's the common denominator in all this?don't need much working out does it....Clark out.
by Mickey0711/6/2012 12:06:54 PM
Assuming Paladini does complete the takeover, he's not famed for his patience. If you were a betting man, do you think LC will be entrusted with transfer funds in January if we're still in the bottom 6?
by Greekbluenose11/6/2012 12:07:01 PM
Jon, noted. I am not 'defending' anyone. I just don't go in for such sweeping statements at least not until analysing all the factors and circumstances.
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:07:17 PM
do you think Doyle should be given a go now?
by guinansg11/6/2012 12:07:59 PM
by Birmingham Mail11/6/2012 12:08:27 PM
I can't speak for what Gianni Paladini's people may do, if their bid is successful. But I would be surprised if the first thing they did was to change the manager there and then. Lee Clark I know has a list of up and coming players he would dearly love to bring into Blues, the Paul Caddis types, to help the squad evolve. We will just have to wait and see what develops because no one knows for sure what the Italian group's intentions are
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:09:38 PM
Don't see why Jack Butland should be dropped, no. He has been getting better with each game and made some significant contributions in recent weeks.
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:10:14 PM
Do you think the express criticism of Nathan Redmond after the Ipswich game was an error on LC's part?
by Greekbluenose11/6/2012 12:10:33 PM
Is PAul Robinson to remain at Blues all season?
by Bluenose Bob11/6/2012 12:12:45 PM
Where do you see Blues in 6 months time?
by guinansg11/6/2012 12:12:47 PM
Yes, Lee Clark as manager as to carry the can ultimately as it's a results driven business. But I also think it's a collective thing and I doubt it's as simple to lay the blame at the manager's door for everything. Some players have been unable to replicate last season's form consistently, there have been injuries and disruptions and not all the new signings have hit the ground running to say the least
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:12:59 PM
i think LC has to go but realistically who would we get to replace him
by peanut11/6/2012 12:13:35 PM
The express criticism of Nathan Redmond was not a case of Lee Clark digging him out purposefully. He was asked a question about the first-half performance and the goal and gave his honest assessment. I know the manager's open and blunt comments are not everybody's cup of tea, but that is just the way he is. He is a different animal, personality and man manager to Chris Hughton
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:14:32 PM
Should Mullins be in the team?
by Jim11/6/2012 12:15:40 PM
Do you think it will be another really low gate?
by DTA11/6/2012 12:15:42 PM
In hindsight, perhaps Lee Clark wished he could have been a bit more tactful in regard his comments about Nathan Redmond. But he had hit a pass like that at Leeds as well and before in the Ipswich game and I guess his emotions and frustrations got the better of him, post match when speaking to the media
by Colin Tattum edited by Birmingham Mail11/6/2012 12:15:59 PM
Hayden Mullins played very well at Leeds, he allowed Ravel Morrison to go and do what he does. At home maybe a different type is needed as the onus is on Blues
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:17:19 PM
Honestly, the 'Lee Clark go, who replaces him?' is a redundant question.I cannot see anything changing considering the financial state of the club and the fact they are in serious takeover talks.
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:18:23 PM
His comments about Redmond showed how unprofessional he is, right or wrong he should not say that in out in the press, especially against a young player. It does the player no good at all!
by Mezz11/6/2012 12:18:25 PM
I don't buy any of that, we look clueless in games we have no plan of attack, another performance like Saturday tonight and Clark should walk no matter what. As for take over there is no way Clark should be kept on, he was a cheap and needs be option, has to be replaced ASAP
by Mezz11/6/2012 12:18:40 PM
I take that, Mezz, yes. Other managers would have handled it differently. But that is the way he is, he will call it how he sees it, rightly or wrongly.
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:19:21 PM
IS Darren Ambrose close to a start?
by How many changes are you...11/6/2012 12:20:16 PM
Will Paladini be at the game again tonight?
by Dave11/6/2012 12:20:17 PM
As for Blues looking 'clueless', I don't agree. They look very poor at times, lacking ingenuity. On other occasions they have played well and got it right eg Brighton Leeds, Bolton, second-half at Millwall. There are clear plans laid out, it is just that as a team they have been maddeningly inconsistent
by Colin Tattum11/6/2012 12:20:47 PM
Can't wait for Paladini to take over, I know he will sack Clark immediately and we will move forward
by Karl11/6/2012 12:21:54 PM
How many more games is Clark going to be given before he's job becomes under threat??
by puggy8111/6/2012 12:22:08 PM
10 minutes remaining! Don't forget we have live kick-by-kick commentary and analysis from Colin during the game. We also have within the same match day live centre league tables and fixtures changing as events unfold around the country. - www.birminghammail.net
