If the Paladini takeover went ahead in time for the quoted £20mil to be spent on players ..... would Lee Clark be trusted to be spending it ....... I'm not convinced I'd trust his judgement personally - what do you think ?

Takeover: three parties are in the mix. The most aggressive and active, from information from various sources, is the Italian group fronted by Gianni Paladini. They are preparing an improved offer, worth in total around £30 million, for Peter Pannu and Carson Yeung to consider. Suggestions that they have '90 per cent concluded' their prospective takeover is incorrect. However, they are ready to go and keen to begin all the relevant formal processess.

Little is known about the Chinese-Hong Kong group. Peter Pannu is believed to have been in talks with them for some time, in relation to a £40 million bid. So far, nothing concrete has materialised. In regard the third serious contender, the party from India, they appear to be cooling. It is thought they would rather wait to see what the outcome of Carson Yeung's trial for alleged money laundering is, and guage the impact of that on Blues president and BIHL. If - and this is an 'if' - in the meantime matters move on elsewhere, then they could be too late. The interest from Thailand has evaporated.

Good Afternoon, Tatts, do you believe that the new ownership issue being resolved in time for January transfer window could be crucial in terms of what our aims e.g Playoffs/Promotion are for 2nd half of season? If we have new owners by January they could invest/strengthen us, or alternatively if we’re not under new ownership we might have to go through more uncertainty with players leaving in the window?

Darren Ambrose was thrown back in too quickly after injury v Barnsley as a substitute and not been able to get back into the side since due to form of others. Nothing he can do about that
