As Blues are seven points from the relegation zone, yes, of course they are. The lack of consistency is hugely frustrating.

Worst game? One of the worst was in the early 90s, against Wigan, if I remember rightly. 0-0. Nothing happened. Absolutely nothing. Dougie Bell went round the centre circle with the ball a few times and that was it.

How come we don't know who the other suitors were ie the thai, indian and hongkong/chinese consortium. I think it's because they don't exist. Surely we would know about them at this stage.
by Mat11/20/2012 12:17:16 PM
In regard the impact of the takeover on the players, I don't think it really affects them too much. They are paid to get on with the football, although of course any frustration that comes from the terraces will not go unnoticed. As for the manager, I think he would like a resolution one way or the other so he can get on and plan the best he can: whether it's still loans and frees or, with new people, a few new signings of substance
by Colin Tattum11/20/2012 12:18:25 PM
Are Diop or Ambrose close to a start? Surely they have to be considered??
by Finn Blue11/20/2012 12:19:59 PM
Mat, all the suitors were identified, if not the actual people behind them. The Indian group have cooled, they wanted to wait to see what happened to Carson Yeung in court and BIHL, the Thai people pulled out. If there is a bidder in China and Hong Kong, only Peter Pannu knows because nothing has come out from that part of the world about them

Is there any truth/evidence in rumours that Tata (Indian conglomerate) are interested in buying Blues. I'm praying for a yes! #nickglynn
by Nick Glynn11/20/2012 12:20:08 PM
Does the fact that we constantly keep coming upstuck at home against sides playing 5 in midfield yet do ok away against sides who play 4 in midfield give LC a clue as to what is going wrong at home, 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 has to be the way to go at home to win midfield battle!
by KP11/20/2012 12:20:11 PM
We've done the Tata rumour to death before: no, it is not them. And the Indian group have cooled anyway
by Colin Tattum11/20/2012 12:20:48 PM
Who do you reckon was our worst manager and why?
by garrybluenose11/20/2012 12:21:19 PM
Surely the Fa can intervene with this Colin. They have not submitted any accounts for nearly two years now. Surely some of the authority's should be investigating BIHL.

Imagine if Lee Clark switched to 4-5-1 at home.....! I agree, teams who come and have a five in there have profited. Not just that, but players with legs, athleticism and good movement
by Colin Tattum11/20/2012 12:21:58 PM
Garrybluenose that's a good question Lee Clark is the worst in the last 25 years I have supported Blues
by Mat11/20/2012 12:23:16 PM
In your opinion Tatts at the moment what is the likelihood of a takeover coming to fruition before Jan?
by SKC11/20/2012 12:23:21 PM
If Lee was given 20m in january , who do you think he would try to bring in to stans ...
by David Carter11/20/2012 12:23:23 PM
Scott, the FL have said they were happy with the way the club, Blues, were being run and therefore the transfer embargo was lifted, regardless of a lack of BIHL accounts. I am not so sure it is the FA's jurisdiction to step in and mount an 'investigation'
by Colin Tattum11/20/2012 12:23:39 PM
Ravel Morrison, if he stays on the straight and narrow, could play for a top six PL team easily
by Colin Tattum11/20/2012 12:24:16 PM
I can't predict whether a takeover will happen or not before January. You have to get inside Peter Pannu's head to know that. My view is that it is surprising that the Italian group have not had any success in striking a deal, yet
by Colin Tattum11/20/2012 12:25:35 PM
Thank you Colin for your time today.
by Scott bohemia11/20/2012 12:27:00 PM
That is the problem though, LC has to pick the team to win games not be dictated to by the simplistic 4-4-2 brigade - all major teams who did well at Euro's played 4-3-3
by KP11/20/2012 12:27:02 PM
I doubt there would be a £20m kitty for the manager in January, even if Gianni Paladini's group came in. However, I know that Lee Clark wants to sign younger, more hungry players ideally, more like Paul Caddis, and reshape the squad over time as Blues do have a lot of players in their 30s and coming to an end of their contracts
by Colin Tattum11/20/2012 12:27:49 PM
I think we miss ndaw was the powerhouse for our midfield
by David Carter11/20/2012 12:29:14 PM
Tatts do you still believe LC is the man for the job?
by SKC11/20/2012 12:29:25 PM
Blues best manager then?
by garrybluenose11/20/2012 12:29:26 PM
KP, generally in the last six weeks 4-4-2 has worked for Blues. They certainly missed a player like Beausejour on the left. Ultimately, it's not so much the system but how good the players are. And, unfortunately, for all the encouraging moments, they have as a group been far too inconsistent
by Colin Tattum11/20/2012 12:29:49 PM
I will just let Colin finish off these questions. Thanks for your participation.
by Birmingham Mail11/20/2012 12:30:05 PM
N'Daw has not been playing particularly well for Ipswich, by the way. He blew hot and cold at Blues, mainly cold
by Colin Tattum11/20/2012 12:30:18 PM
At Marlon King's age, no, can't see any PL club coming for him. He has been excellent this last six weeks or so, vital
by Colin Tattum11/20/2012 12:30:53 PM
Best and worst managers? Depends what the criteria is. I will have a think and tell you next week...
Rail operator Virgin Trains has been asked to continue running the troubled West Coast Main Line for another few months, the Government said today.
